Make sure you select the task killer to be one of the exceptions or it will kill itself and not do you much good. Seriously. It does that.

There are a few firewall products out there that still use a network connection to check whether their license info is correct. So all you have to do is enter a phoney license, and then make the product block itself from checking the license server. *fail*
