Interesting...now would they be asking the same question if they had been Muslims?
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

And would they be asking the same question if they had been killed?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

The cyclone probably decided it didn't want to risk getting into a conversation with them.

I think the best that can be said about this Yasawa group is that they had the courage of their convictions. "It is a powerful thing to believe and to have faith". It's also a pretty damn stupid thing to gamble your life on.

This is all bull.
I have seriously relooked at my perception of God and How He works for the last few days. I now believe that God does not interfere in anything that occurs on earth or even the universe. I have adapted a belief somewhat similar to a Deistic view of the world. I am still a believer in Jesus Christ.
