Electronic Cigarettes

RE: Electronic Cigarettes
This is the one that I use. I use the disposable cartridges, as well as the refill liquid. It ends up costing me about $2.00 per day and it was a one time $60.00 investment for two rechargeable batteries. Not bad, considering a carton of cigarettes can cost that much.

Sigh. I should REALLY quit smoking. Sad

Cigarettes are very expensive in Washington state where I live, $7.00-8.00 and up for a pack with tax. I usually buy mine in Oregon where I can find them on sale for $4.50-$5.00 per pack, no sales tax. Fortunately, I work in Oregon.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?

I quit smoking about 10 years ago when I was in the army. The army is pretty good about helping you quit. They provide free gum, patches or welbutrin. Or at least that was what they offered 10 years ago. That was before e cigs. I chose the welbutrin. It took me a couple tries but seemed to work pretty well and I was eventually successful. Good luck to all who are trying to quit.
We are are part of nature, built from the same stuff as stars, planets, asteroids, and comets. Our protons and neutrons have been around since the earliest times, glued together into heavy elements of long dead ancient suns, blasted out into the universe and resculpted from diffuse interstellar dust clouds by the gentle hand of gravity. When the pattern of atoms known to be you ceases to be, the building blocks will return to the voids of space, and in a billion years or more, they may take their place in another structure so beautiful that a future mind may perceive it to be the work of a god. ~ Brian Cox

My bf quit cold turkey and has essentially been without smoking since February now. If he ever wants to start again, I'm gonna buy him one of those Smile
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I quit 15 years ago when my eldest was born.
My not being allowed to smoke in the house coincided with some filthy weather, then a bout of flu meant i couldnt face a fag for two weeks by which time I figured the toxins had been flushed. Never had one since.
