What is existence?
#1
What is existence?
Existence is Energy.
Energy is existence.

Existence (energy) cannot be created or destroyed. Existence can only change from one form, state or spatial dimension to another. What has existed has always existed and will always exist, it is timeless. Existence may be rearranged or changed into different temporal states, but something will always exist.

For this reason there is no such thing as a literal 'nothing', a lack of something, there is always something, there is only existence.

Is this just a circular statement that has no explanatory power about our universe? Are these statements just the meanderings of pseudo-philosophical babble? Or are they necessarily true statements? Tautological or Logical truths about everything we know and perceive to be real?

Is this just amateurish nonsense or an objective truth?

Reality is existence, and by definition, since God is real, God is part of that reality.

Except, by definition, god is not real.

Since energy cannot be created or destroyed Christianity and Judaism with their monotheistic creator-deities are proven false by the fundamental laws of physics.

Only the Pantheistic and Pandeistic claims that said God IS the universe in question i.e. the totality of all existence, survive.

Not that many Christians care about reality proving their beliefs to be wrong of course...

God is a non-sequitor in a discussion about the nature of existence. Whether you believe he is real or not. Try to focus.

Also, how can you not see how circular that argument is?

Why not, Reality is existence, and by definition, since Zeus is real, Zeus is part of that reality.

For crying out loud, its not complicated to see that assertion of truth is not a logical proof.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?

I believe this to be true. We as humans never really "cease to exist". Before we are born, the fundamental elements to create us were all over the place.

Our ancestors ate meat, ate fruit and internalized all key elements and essentials for life.

When we die, our bodies will decompose and our body will turn back into elements of the earth. Bacteria will eat our flesh. We do not simply vanish.

Even if you burn something, or evaporate something. It's still there. Smoke, water vapor etc.

Now God, there is no proof he existed. At all. It's just bronze age old myths to try and make sense of this world.
