Bra It is the same for me - I have an easier time understanding Norwegian though.
Is Swedish a common language in Finland?

It's spoken mostly around the coast, and it's a different Swedish than the one spoken in Sweden, though written it's hard to tell the difference (e.g. like American and Australian English). About 300.000 speak Swedish as their primary language and Finland is considered to be bilingual. /lecture

I did not know Finland was bilingual. Then again Sweden and Finland have a pretty intimate history (like Norway and Denmark...).
