Its a fictional character, but I would like to see they finding out their precious jesus was gay, they'd be shitting bricks hahaha.

Personally, I thought much of his alledged behavior can be explained by an attempt to cover up a rather strong homosexual interest with a mix of ostentatious posturing and some rather extreme inward rationalization. He seems to be someone very intent on denying who he is by making up a rather extreme false persona for himself.

Dumbledore was also a homosexual. Many characters in many books are gay. So what?

So Jesus was a christian hypocrisy if this is true, it would undermine the christian dogmatism against homosexuality and their general position, altering the fundamental moral beliefs of a billion people worldwide. But otherwise nothing much.

Have a read of the NT and you'll see a lot of that. There are mentions of violence and thieving on his part. Not a problem at all for most Christians. Why would one more thing make a difference?

HA! read the OT and there are more contradictions in their 'god' character than in any moral guidebook ever conceived, the stories of Job, Abraham, the pharaoh, Moses, Adam and Eve, black people, homosexuals...there are a multitude of contradictory statements about god that would question the 'all-loving' creature. It seems somewhat hypocritical to say that we shouldn't kill because god wills us not to when he obviously does not abhor it in all it's forms, and often commits murder.
