Shell B Retires

RE: Shell B Retires
I'm now about 73% through the book. I spent most of today reading it, but it will probably take me the rest of the year before I get a chance to finish it. I'll get to that review, sometime.

Well, that you read it all day can only be a good sign. Then again, that you won't pick it up again for months can only be bad. Goddamnit, man. Tell me if you like it! Not publicly, if you hate it, of course. Tongue

No, I like it. I'm just anticipating being very busy in the coming months. The kids are off school, my girlfriend is preggers and I've just taken on a new client who likes long ass articles, for some reason.

I hate signing retirement cards, I can never think of what to say that won't come across as schmaltzy, boorish or downright creepy. I'll settle for nerdy and take my cue from First Doctor William Hartnell's greatest and most moving speech: "Just go forward in all your beliefs, and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine."

Have fun with your writing and don't stay away too long.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Good luck with your writing Shell, I remember you helped me write my first article at one point, so thanks for that.

Hope you stick around though, wouldn't be the same without ya Smile

D: WHY ARE ALL THE GOOD ADMINS LEAVING?! Now we're stuck with the likes of Tib. Woe betide us all.

No but seriously, bon chance with your sequel. Big Grin

Haven't been here long enough to know you (or even interact) but I cannot turn down a free book. I've been a NaNo participant myself the last two years, finishing neither work but at least beating the 50k mark within the time limit.
