Down my way its called gorilla gardening and yes when I have excess plants, they may just accidentally find there way in to a bit of derelict land.
Most of the time they are killed by teenagers, but some thrive and are enjoyed.

Excellent, I can't tell you how much I approve go and do it!
The is a Situationist slogan on the line of, pull up the pavement there is a beach underneath.
Our cities don't have to be drab holes, we can bring them to life. I think that will make more of a difference to everybody enjoying life, than anybody who is in power is capable of achieving.
