It's rubbish! Every claim they make has been thoroughly debunked (and referred to already in this thread) ... especially when you consider that they're asking rational people to believe that George W. Bush's administration (generally regarded as one of THE most inept in modern times) organised this supposed conspiracy.

You know I get why theists believe this kind of [expletive deleted] they are, after all one step closer to insanity in that they already believe in things without evidence (and often in spite of it), they already twist the truth to suit their own world-view but what I don't get is why supposedly rational atheists, people who arrived at the position of being atheists by virtue of rationally rejecting the poisonous and bogus crap of religion, believe it.

well I'm still in the process of finding out all the information.

I mean George dubya lied about Iraq so at the present moment I don't believe we're being told the whole truth about 911. Although George Bush is an idiot I think some of the people behind him weren't.

I mean the dude got re-elected. How is that even possible.

RE: 9/11 Truthers
Hey,

Matt, I would assume that most of the people here have seen that film. It has been quite a few years... It is a powerful film, and although the debate still rages on, it is a valuable way to see that side of the argument.

I agree that we have been lied to, I don't think we can find very many places that the American Government did not lie to its citizens, and citizens of the world. They have a long, long history of such, and I tried to make that a point about 9/11. I don't know if I was very clear, but I tried...

It is assured that some of the people behind Bush Jr's government were very, very smart. And amoral and with strange priorities... We, where I live all reference it as Dick Cheney's presidency. He won the second election in a similar manner to the first. "George Bush stole the oval office, and he was able to because no one stood up and said 'no',". But I am having trouble with the lack of Bush. I hated Americas leaders long before Bush. Then Bush made it popular to hate the federal government and mock the president... So everyone was fine with it. Nowadays I still hate the American government as much (if not more), and people want to lynch me. I went to a concert last week, the girl said "this song is called 'yes we can', and I was the only person who yelled 'Fuck Obama'. Let me remind you that I am not in America. And people were cheering and going crazy, and then some big guy turned and tried to fight me for my statement. I asked him 'what country are you from?'. The point being that I felt more entitled to my opinion as an American ExPat. More little tidbits of who Pippy is are crumbling out...

All I am saying is that now everyone is in love with the rock-star beige president, and I am back to being an outcast for having legitimate hatred (based on an actual relationship) of the system... Do you guys get that? Do any of you think anything other than adoration for Barky? I would be curious to know, but it is unimportant...

Thank you guys for listening.

It was probably Pippy, the traitorous bastard who did it.

Ok, for everyone who thinks Loose Change is a "powerful" or "great" film, here is a place you might want to visit:

http://www.lolloosechange.co.nr/

The film was made by a student who has no background training in any of the fields you need to make such a movie (other than perhaps being able to use a video editor). He also makes several hundred fallacies during the movie, as well as blatant errors of fact.

The guide to the movie is extremely valuable: http://209.85.229.132/search?q=cache:Hh7...clnk&gl=uk

RE: 9/11 Truthers
I state that it is powerful, and don't mean that to be a descriptor of some kind of factual accuracy. A lot of fiction is powerful. The Commission report is also powerful... Just a descriptor.

Dotard, I'm sorry I had to go through the function of my post to you, thereby making you mad it seems.

I am MUCH less fond of "screw loose change", or "lol loose change", or any other film of that type. I have not seen this newest you mention, but I sat through screw loose change in it's entirety. Never, and I mean never had I been so unimpressed with a film. Very much not at all powerful. Make your own movie if you have something to say, don't just put a whiny overdub of your voice on other peoples hard work. That should sum up my opinion of "lol loose change", as I assume it is similar to "screw loose change". As far as conspiracy videos, whith they both would be, the former is much more credible. And that is not a high level of credibility.

Thank you,
-Pip

PS how come I always do things that make you post links to things I have already seen years ago?

I had no idea "screw loose change" and "lol loose change" were movies. I am talking about the websites that are set up with links to debunk the claims of 9/11 truthers.

Links to a page with the heading Screw Loose Change Video.

You posted a link to a page of an infamous video (that I also have already seen, like most of the links), and now you say you had no idea they were movies? I am completely lost.
