I've done some light googling given his email address and potential names, along with the term of where he lives.
There is nothing of recent import that I can find that would imply him being in the news, for any reason. I sent a message via one of my subaccounts -- I hope he doesn't find it an intrusive bother. 10 days seems short enough for a well deserved holiday though. I'm confident Pad is doing just fine... Hmmm. This is very odd -- the email address bounced, announcing no such user.
I wonder if his email lapsed some time ago.... Ten days is rather quick to scrub an email handle from the system, knowing IT... I've spent 20 minutes trying different obituary sites for Australia. No such entry for his potential last name or substitutions, other than one result, and that was for a guy who died in July. Nothing that matches as a search term for accidents... I don't think he's dead, else it would've shown up in the official notices. Slave to the Patriarchy no more

I had that one from an e-book I sent him a few months back. No answer yet but neither did it bounce back.

Moros, I believe he lives in Adelaide if that helps narrow the search.

He registered at Rationalia and seems to be enjoying it.
