If you watched Fresh Prince, you know that Will Smith constantly makes fun of Carlton Banks's height.
Now in TV shows when a character has some kind of deficiency (Steve Urkel, Joey Tribbiani, Cosmo Kramer), it's usually fake. Once you get off the set, it doesn't exist.
But uniquely for Alfonso Ribiero's character Carlton, being short is a problem even after he gets off of set.
I've wondered, do any of the constant stream of insults he takes, episode after episode, season after season get to him personally?
Does he get off of set, drop the Carlton Banks act and realize, "Hey, I'm short in real life too. Damn."
I imagine he spent a lot of time in therapy for that.
