Fuck. I just realised that in old greek phonology of "sch" is not spokens like the german "sch" in which the "c" within the "sch" is voiceless, but like the englisch "sch" like in the latin word "scola" - which means school. Or the sweedish word "Sköl" which means cheers.

Quite a workout wrapping the mouth around these humdinger words, isn't it? I feel tired just from watching. Where I live smokers are the most discriminated against and despised minority of all. Poor bastards can't smoke anywhere inside, nor can they stand on the same block as the school where I teach. You see them scurrying along desparately trying to get some smoke before someone chases them away. Is it getting that way in Germany yet?

Heh, I never thought of my voice as anything particularly enjoyable. I used to sing when I was younger until a bout with bronchitis-turned-pnuemonia put the kibosh on it. My teachers like to have me read passages out loud because singing and a little speech-training my dad did made sure I project properly, but that's about it.

I think your practice while doing those videos gave you an edge.
