What music do you listen to during work?

What music do you listen to while you work? (if any)
I find that I like to listen to the first movement of the sixth Brandenburg Concerto while working. The repetitiveness and the constant echoing between the two violas (no violins in this piece) creates a non-distracting ambient effect. Blocks out noise really well for me.

Lucky you.. I can't really listen to music at work, since I'm constantly surrounded by customers. Instead I have to listen to the same, shitty CD with horrible pop-songs (well, now it's Christmas songs..) looping on and on, because that's what they're playing in the mall I work in

The best music that helps me get shit is done pretty much any dance/rave music. Don't know why, I just get so much more productive when I can stick on some headphones and zone out from the shitty world.

It depends on the work I have to do. If it requires concentration, I'll listen to electronic music - techno or house without vocals. If I have to repair some tech, I'll resort to something relaxing - like Rihanna or Will Smith, for instance. If I have to clean my room, Prodigy's "Fat of the land" album is perfect for the job. Or if I'm angry at something/someone, I'll play death or black metal. And finally, when I'm lazy to do anything at all, I always play country music - mostly Alan Jackson but on rare occasions I choose Aaron Tippin to play for my laziness.

I nolonger work due to disability, but I never had a job where I could listen to music anyhow. But around my condo, if I am doing chores or computer work, I like any number of radio stations. Usually indie-oriented, like KEXP.org (now, with the Libertines) or KUOI.org.
http://www.kexp.org - an affiliate of the University of Washington, but with proDJs.
http://www.kuoi.org - University of Idaho student radio
http://www.wyep.org - Pittsburgh (independent radio station similar to kEXP)
But also the Drone Zone, by SomaFM is a good station, and is on iTunes. That is for drone ambient music, such as Stars of the Lid.

I also like old jazz, including Ark Blakey, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Coltrane and others. And radio stations like:

I can't listen to music when I'm giving a lecture,but in recent weeks I have been deliberatley playing a few choice tracks in my office right next door to my fanatical moonie collegue after his last anti LGBT rant.
Things like Lennon's "Imagine", XTC's "Dear God". I even played "Internationale" in Russian once, that got the best reaction. Guy looked like I'd just eaten his first born child when he walked past my open door. So worth it.
