Looks like the thread went a little off topic, so bringing it back in. If there is a God, he has to be far beyond our capacity of speculation therefore to determine that we KNOW what he wants (religion) is plain ignorant/stupid. And to attempt to prove that he doesn't exist really waste the little time we have here in the only life there is.

To define God (the judeo/Christian God) is to have speculated. Christians take the bible as accepted observations of the nature of God.
