Oh Ok. Unlike the bible the Qur'an does not contain a complete chronology of creation. I find no need to reconcile anything. As i see no contradiction.

Thats the general rallying cry, that the koran is more vague (an amusing admission - granted), but unfortunately the details it does offer are as misinformed as the source material it drew from. So whether or not you decide to see a contradiction between this narrative and reality, it -is- there.
If you would please, just link me a peer reviewed paper concerning the origins of man - specifically the bit about how we were formed from the earth. Should be easy to find, since there's no contradiction. I suppose that would be a start, but we're likely to run out of patience with each other before I run out of examples.

Just make sure you keep learning biology from science text books and try and waste as little time as possible reading the quran and im sure you will end up ok.

Of course you don't, but don't be silly and pretend you are doing anything differently from Christians when they use the same self serving circular reasoning you use yourself.
If anyone, of any God belief or of polytheism had any lick of evidence for their pet god/s they'd beat everyone to the patent office and have a Nobel Prize by now.
