Ever since I watched Prost win the 84 German Grand Prix at the Hockenheimring.

Not followed it so much this past year, but yeah, I enjoy a bit of F1.

What d'ya reckon about that whole Vettel/Alonso drama at the end of the season?

I'd have loved to have been around then. The earliest championship I can remember is '98.

It was my first live F1 race. A couple of us rode bikes up from Pforzheim to see the race. It was Ayrton Senna's rookie season. We had no idea who he was. We also made it to La Mans that year and got to see the 956's sweep the field.

I'm impressed with Vettle, but he is no Senna or Schumacher. I base that on the fact that he just doesn't dominate in the wet like the really great ones do. Alonso is probably the best driver right now...

I remember watching Jack Brabham, and people saying there will never be another Fangio, but I have fallen out of love with the sport after Bahrain. Actually I used to work with a guy who was the boy behind the straw bail that Sterling Moss hit that Finished Sterling Moss's racing career.
My Favourite driver was Nelson Piquet, not just a driver, but the best boxer on the track.

Never understood how one can be fascinated by watching cars driving in circles for 3 - 4 hours.
