I thought Australians aren't primarily Christian and that they don't bang the issue that their country was founded on Christian principles and the like. I don't know much about Australian politics but I thought she was an atheist. I also thought that Christianity was somewhat of a minority in Australia but I could be wrong about this. As for rewritten American bullshit, I think you're right about this. It comes from a friend of mine who I snopes.com on a regular basis.

I also wasn't aware of any "Christian foundation of the country" I thought it had a penal colony on it in the beginning.
