I have to say that Hinduism has some of the strangest religious beliefs and practices of any of the major religions. Also the amount of widely acceptable quackery and fraud is pretty disgusting. Oh and the sexism, and the caste system and the rampant homophobia. Why doesn't Hinduism get more flak from Atheists? Is it because it is so far removed from our lives? It's pretty fucking bad.

Hindu are not very common here either, I quess there are many more Hindu in the U.K.
I must admit I know almost nothing about their beliefs and rituals... Oh, I saw Slumdog Millionair, does that count?

I need to read about these folks, they are fascinating.
