Hate the sin, not the sinner, right?

They should be ridiculed and laughed straight into the margins of society where they belong. Christians should be treated in the same manner we treat Scientologists or white supremacists, for they tend to be just as goofy as the former and just as hateful as the latter. I couldn't agree more. I'll tolerate all kinds of shit, but I'm not going to tolerate intolerance.
To the people who do not tolerate intolerance,
How do you not tolerate it? It still happens whether you have allowed its existence or not. RE: Tolerance

I confront rascist people in a polite way using facts, depending on what they say, and expose their stupidity in that way since I can't hide the color of my skin. Unfortunately, I rarely meet really intolerant people since these sort of meetings can be very funny.
So what if someone says a racist joke (and it was funny, or by someone in a place of power that you have to respect to earn a living)
Or someone prays in front of you I'm just trying to gauge this... You see if you went around the street in Germany, for example, proclaiming that you do not tolerate the Jews, you may find yourself in trouble.
I do not only tolerate racist jokes: I even make them every time I pass a prison, an unemployment office or a cotton plantation.

I think people take it all too seriously. It annoys me how theres a different level of tollerance depending on who you insult though
Gay people and chinese people no one bats an eye lid really at least where i live i think, if i went to my city centre and shouted "you fucking gay chink" it would be pretty unlikely to cause much of an uproar, even in china town, but if i shouted "you fucking muslim nigger" im pretty sure EVERYONE would be just open mouthed with shock, i could be wrong though. I think theres for some reason an order of certain people its more acceptable to insult than others, it probably looks a bit like this. Most socially acceptable..christians, chinese, white people, disabled people, gay people, jewish people, pakistani people, muslims, black people....least socially acceptable That isnt the definitive list, just from my local observations. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason. RE: Tolerance

Although to be fair, the list also co-coincides with the most recent human tragedies caused by the West: slavery, the holocaust, and the wars in the middle-east. |
