When I play poker online it is only with play money, not real money. I do not gamble per say, though I have nothing against it. It's just most of the gambling games don't appeal to me. I cannot for the life of me imagine what the attraction is of slot machines, or roulette (Russian or otherwise), or craps, or most card games.
I like poker a lot, because you are not competing against the bank who has his odds stacked hugely in its favor. You are playing against the other people at the table, and even with rubbish cards you can still win.
I also play in the bank lottery, but I don't expect to win anything, I just agreed to it so the charities that get money from this lottery get some extra cash (separate from the regular donations). I never even watch the drawing of the numbers to be honest.

Tis one of my personal flaws. Wonderful example? I played Civilization Revolution until 2:30, when i had to get up at 4:30 to get ready for school (had to finish a school project i procrastinated for a week on.)
