Ecstasy

RE: Ecstasy
Yeah, if you do it once and stop, it won't harm you that much. As to X, it didn't really worked for me.

Ah, that's my point. Some things in moderation, is not taking them at all Wink
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

In terms of the OP, I'd just say, drink lots of water. Both ecstasy and alcohol can cause dehydration. I'll also second what others are saying, make sure you're getting the real thing and not being ripped off. Other than that, don't drive (duh) and have fun Smile

The problem with drugs is that they feel way too good, and some of us tend to seek refuge on them. Heroin is very addicting, yes, but a single use won't allow for addiction. The problem is that the guy using it may like the stuff way too much, starting to use first at monthly, then weekly, then daily, then by the hour..... As the body gets the habit, the drug will lose strenght. At that point the user has become a slave, functioning only for the next score, only to feel normal. And it is a torture to break that cicle.

That's pretty much what happened with me, and yeah, it really is.

I used to sell ecstacy along with a couple of other hard drugs (a good while ago). I never had any of it myself in fear of suddenly becoming addicted and using it all before I could sell it or...something. But my customers loved it.

Then again, my customers weren't exactly the best people to ask if a drug is good or not. I could have given them dog shit in a bag and they'd stick it in a needle and inject it.

Quote:If you can't enjoy life sober as much as you do on drugs, you have a drug problem.

It makes me laugh when people say things like this, I'm willing to bet just because you have said this you have never taken ecstasy.

Natural happiness vs happiness on ecstasy is like having a day to day normal headache vs someone throwing a brick at your face.

It's an outside stimulus that doesn't ask for your permission to change the way you think or how you feel, any normally wired human being enjoys life more on ecstasy than they do normal life, the trick is to be aware and to know this and to move on and to think that life is about more than just experiencing a supernatural degree of happiness 6 hours at a time because of a pill.

Although i agree with the statement in a sense of long term drug abuse is usually a sign that something is wrong in a persons life, and there is a thin line between use and abuse. But just as a generalized statement it doesn't really work.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

*whistles* Veeeery nice. A bit too expensive for me to get at the moment but that's just been placed at #1 on my list of to-get acquisitions. I like the one in walnut, looks class as fuck.
