Those damned dirty atheists and their primitive 18th century social philosophy!

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke

Tianjin is a pretty city. The rubber band on the wrist trick is all too familiar. When I was in my early twenties, depressed and failing college (and with sexual issues on top of everything), I decided to cave in to conformity and rid myself of the "crazy thoughts" inside my head. I wore a rubber band on my wrist, and when my "crazy thoughts" thoughts came up, I would aggressively snap the rubber band against my wrist to distract myself from thinking those thoughts. (And I used other thought stopping techniques.) Surprisingly, it worked, for a time. The crazy thoughts became less frequent and less invasive and less compelling. But then a few years later they came back again, with a vengeance and panic attacks. (They always come back, no matter what I do.) I guess whether it's a predisposition to homosexual attractions or to psychosis, there's no fighting nature.

Thank you, Germans. You are a valuable and irreplaceable resource.

Kinda obvious - you're gay and you're looking into treatment of gays in China.

Clearly we're all North Koreans too, since we look into the treatment of North Koreans within North Korea. We're also thinking of moving there.
