Believe me... I've already offed more bananas than there are humans on this goddamn rock.

You got a lovely infection, my love! Take some tylenol and have someone get you some popsicles maybe?

I have a very high tolerance to acetaminophen. To achieve anything more than 'a single volume-dial down', I would have to take more than three times the high-end of a recommended "safe" dosage (more than 3g to reach desired goal of 'serious pain reduction'). Believe it would do more damage to my body than to my pain at such levels, not interested in risking it. Ibuprofen on the other hand? Sweet stuff. Vicodin and tylenol? See acetaminophen.

Gotta have money for popsicles. My handling the pain with drugs is also (in part) killing the fever, and it is probably prolonging the sickness as a result. Being unable to sleep due to pain when swallowing is an extremely uncomfortable position to be in, so that 18-hour attempt to 'just rest in bed without any medications' ended with a very upset Violet. Didn't help that Ash didn't bring me water regularly -_-

PS. I HAAATTTEEEE CHIGGERSSSSSSS!!! Fuck those things! (Kansas)

I'll feel better when this has ended, and not a moment sooner, y'hear?! Cranky

RE: Where is Violet?
High Vicodin tolerance is almost as bad as being allergic to chocolate.

Get better soon, Violet.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Hardly... chocolate has a fantastic flavor profile that you can use well even if you don't like the candies (or if they dehydrate you). Being allergic to it could affect you for life. Acetaminophen is theoretically only used for pain relief, and there are many other effective varieties of pain numbing/dulling/devouring medication. Some of which haven't even been invented yet Tiger

Swollen bits largely gone, it was only a week and a half this time! Smile Residual soreness to be expected, but when you can swallow without flinching, cringing, wincing, or accidentally punching babies: life is good.
