Gorillas in the Mist?

Gorillas in the Mist?
There was war in the jungle of primates.
Primate chest thumping lead to horrible carnage that devastated the jungle.
A primate giant emerged and there was peace in the jungle.
The king primate grew rich and powerful and shared some of his abundance and there was peace.

Through the decades the king primate evolved and became fat and lazy and more greedy, keeping the finest for himself, allowing less and less of the abundance to trickle down to the lesser primates.
The jungle of primates got larger and the abundance of the jungle dwindled.
There arose strife and unhappiness among the other alpha male primates.
They began to challenge the old, fat, lazy greedy primate for dominance.
And the chest thumping began.

Will the old giant primate be able to ward off the threat to his leadership?
Will the young, brash, alpha male primates be able to take what they feel is now time to be theirs?
Will there arise a new jungle order?
There was war in the jungle of mutant primates
Might makes right in the jungle of mutant primates.
Evolution at its finest.

What the fuck is this shit?

Whatever it is, it shows a fundamental lack of understanding how evolution works. It's not about strength. It's about being well-adapted. You think humans were the strongest of all the advanced primates? They were not. Not even close. They were just better adapted.

His kind always thinks they are hot shit. You know, all that "made in gods image" bullshit goes to their heads.

What does this have to do with evolution?
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Everytime I read one of your posts I imagine this spoty kid sitting infront of a pc smearing feces all over his face whilest singing phalangist propaganda songs and wearing a tinfoil hat.

No offence. this just what I really think.

If they were alpha males, wouldn't it already be theirs?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
