If you think she's blowing you off, then she just might be. It can't hurt to lay a fire under her at this point, so definitely continue that discussion. All she can do is decide to either respond or not respond, and it's no skin off your back. That's how I would proceed, anyway.

At this point I'm thinking I will continue to nudge her with emails letting her know I'm still out there and if in another couple months I haven't received anything significant back for either a social or theological email (significant = took more than 5 minutes to write) than I'm going to assume I've ticked her off and drop the subject with her entirely - or at least ask if a response is in the works.

The reason I am suspicious about her sudden drop in communication is that this is a person who, for upwards of about 8 months, would exchange 2-3 emails a week with me; then again, in my last email to her I was demanding quite a bit of evidence and validation for her claims so she could simply be researching stuff (fingers crossed she takes an honest look at the history of her own church). I'm stickin' by my "in a few months" plan right now.

She's probably out going door-to-door annoying the piss out of perfect strangers.

That's one thing I never understood and still don't understand about Mormons: their need to proselytize in their own majority cities and states. Is it just validating for SLC missionaries to knock on a door and have the person on the other side tell them they're already LDS? Don't get it.

Of course it is! They also know that the Mormon population there is dwindling, even if they won't admit it in their Church Membership stats.
