You're on an atheist forum. We're atheists, we don't believe in god(s). A lot of us used to be religious and used to follow one holy book or another, that would qualify as being guided by the concept of a god. We no longer do that.
If you're saying that despite our disbelief, we are still guided by god but are lying about it. Why do you bother talking to us if you think we're lying?
If you're saying despite our disbelief, we're being guided by god, we just don't know it. Then what's the point of believing?

Gil, you're horrible! :d
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

for those who dont believe in god i have a question
which type of evidences do you need to prove the existence of god
what i know it is not necessary to have evidence to prove existence of things
example 1:
suppose in the real world , i can see red color and they are many things have this color e.g blood
in contract the blind cant feel this color, cant see it
so if the blind people say give me an evidence to prove the existence of red color
what shall i say , do i have to make him touch the blood
if he touch it , is it enough ?
no
so do we believe the blind if he say i dont believe in red color
of course no.
believe in god is something out of our control
because a human is restricted in time and space
believe in god is like when a blind asks you to prove the existence of colors
Your blind man analogy is very abstruse and does not seem to make sense. Neither a blind person nor a non-blind person can prove the existence of a supernatural God that is part of objective reality. All gods are accepted on faith, whether it is Zeus, Apollo, Allah, or anyone else.

But I am NOT blind and can see colors fine. And when you can produce evidence for your god beyond "the koran says" then we can talk about that evidence.
The world, which you insist is based on your "god" seems to have gotten along quite well enough for millions of years without him.

True as far as it goes. But belief in God isn't simply believing in God without evidence, it is believing in God in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
To paraphrase LaPlace, there is no need for a God hypothesis to explain ANYthing.
While it is true that I cannot show a blind person the colour red, I can easily (fairly easily, anyroad) explain to her wavelengths and diffraction pattern, and explain to her that when certain wavelengths scatter in a certain way, we call the resulting phenomenon 'red'.
But this is pretty far removed from Godism. For myself, I would not require physical evidence for God - I'd settle for an unassailable logical argument for the existence of God. So now, it's your turn. Complete the following sentence in a manner which will convince anyone of your point (use as many words as you like):
'God must exist because...'
Have a lovely day.

As always, late to the party.. and I think you guys scared this entity away...
Even so, I'll reply.
Blind man detail => I (and all humans) am blind to X-rays. What is the color of X-rays? yeah.... and yet we know they are there. I wonder how?.... jeezz
Hint: there are substances which turn X-rays into something visible.
Being light a wave, we could convert the electromagnetic wave to an air-pressure wave, also known as sound... and have the blind person hear light... that would be way cool!... I've never seen it done... hmmm.... droid app idea!
Deaf person.... I am deaf to ultra-sounds... and infra-sounds.... and yet, I know they exist. Dogs can hear higher frequencies than humans... are they on to something? How to make us know they are there? Same deal as above, we can easily turn sound to an image and have the person see the sound.... Try Media player's visualizations
Now for the topic at hand.
What would make me accept that a god exists?
- Well, it would help if such an entity would show up. Present itself to me and all other humans, regularly, cutting out the middlemen, also known as prophets. Have it show itself to us, talk to us, impart some its overwhelming wisdom with each and every one of us.
Belief would turn out to be useless. We'd all have direct contact... So physical evidence wouldn't be required... kind of like with love. We'd all know that a god exists and we'd all know what it's like, so there wouldn't be different groups of people worshiping the wrong god.
- As long as there's more than one religion, I regard any god as a human invention. An invention that segregated multiple times, reinventing itself multiple times.
Oh, and welcome to the forum... if you haven't run away yet...

The woodworker is created by man, just as the door is created by man. Man is the only creator for which there is any evidence. A woman becomes pregnant by a man, and thus another human is created. God is not involved in any way. Just as man can create another human through biology, he can also create a door with his hands, and he can create a god with is imagination. Gods are merely created from the intellectual laziness of one who cannot bother to search for an answer and would rather settle for the unverifiable easy one that requires nothing except blind faith.

I can state with just as much conviction, that surely there is no god and absolutely no need for one.
