Is Hell Really a Bad Place?

If you are going to make a claim about science, in the context of a discussion on a scientific issue, then you need to cite your reasoning, and if you are not a scientist yourself, then you need to cite some actual authorities to verify your claim. Preferably, you'll even have some published works of theirs that show this; that's what we want to see. We're not asking you to divulge the names of private individuals, but to lead us to the already published and publicly accessible written works that they have provided. The fact that you haven't is pretty telling.

If you don't cite resources, then I could just do this, and have exactly the same standing as you: the top billion scientists in the world, all of them much smarter than the ones you're citing GC, all agree that radiometric dating is perfect in every way, and beyond dispute.

There. I guess that's true now, right? I don't need to prove it, that would be unethical!

Just admit that you were lying, dude...

You mean a choice between actually enjoying life and a invisible punishment for which no fucking evidence has ever been provided even once?

I can't for the life of me wonder why we wouldn't choose your fairy tale....

That's not the choice. Studies on happiness generally find atheists and theists to be very close. I've seen theists happier in some and atheists happier in others, and the difference isn't big.

You totally missed my point didn't you.
Chad is going on with his usual blather about choosing sin over heaven and ending up in hell.

I'm making the point that hell is an imaginary place for which he has no evidence.

I made no comment about the relative happiness of theists v atheists.
