So it isn't about being joined to the mother its about it being conscious or thinking, and not being able to live on its own?
Does the amount of time someone is not conscious or thinking matter to if it can be killed? I mean when we sleep we are unconscious and not thinking, so is it ok to kill a sleeping person? Of course that person can wake up, but the fetus can also grow up.
Can you kill those on life support since they can't live on their own?
