Republicans want to use Jesus to further their political careers, but they certainly do not want to be ANYTHING like him.
Basically, the richest of the rich hatched a great scheme. They said: Look, the sad truth is, the vast majority of the country's people are idiotic and gullible, and we really have no interest in helping them. However, they are the majority, so we need their vote. So, here's what we are going to do: we are going to play the God card. Yup, we are going to EASILY convince these gullible idiots that GOD wants them to vote for us. With that, we can continue looking out for ourselves while keeping their sorry pathetic assess down and doing all of our dirty work, all while maintaining their unconditional support. You all think it will work? Hahaha, of course it will. Just look at them!
