I've often hoped that the Tea Party would split from the GOP and form their own wacko party. Then we could have a party that's center-right, one right, and one extreme right. Of course the split would render both the Tea Party and the Republican Party impotent, since the conservatives would be split between the two. But, I do kind of hate to see the GOP toned down since it's been conservative extremism from the teabaggers which has been running the GOP into the ground the past 5 years or so. I mean, I could scarcely believe the nutjobs they had running for president last year, what with Bachmann, Gingrich, Santorum, and Perry to name a few. It was like watching the nutjob express.
