I consider the notion of gods so poorly defined that the question as to whether they exist is essentially meaningless. I am certainly not aware of any, nor do I feel any particular compulsion to believe in them without a coherent idea of what they are. Likewise, I see no reason why any being of such power and wisdom would care whether I believe or not.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm going to hell. Hey, look - another ill-defined concept not worth further consideration. RE: The definetion of atheism

I don't deny god exists. I deny that anyone has made a sufficient case for believing in one.

God yes?
God no? God maybe? There's only three options. And people do change their mind. (October 19, 2013 at 10:30 pm)whateverist Wrote: You've overlooked: I'm starting to wonder if simplification is the hallmark of the religious mind.

But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Why do people have so much trouble understanding this?
No, atheism really means... It's not that you don't believe, rather you are angry... You aren't really an atheist... You aren't a real atheist... Dude! If I say I don't believe in your god or any other god, I mean it. Don't try and tell me you know better. You aren't really a Christian. You don't really believe. You think you believe because you are afraid of not believing. Rawr. Don't like that, huh?
Pointing around: "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, you're cool, fuck you, I'm out!"
