Just keep pointing out that they have no evidence for their beliefs beyond their own occasional brain farts and a worthless old book.

Welcome.

Quote:Welcome. Another classic rock fan here. I hated it when the radio station I listen to went from an all-classic rock format to an all rock format including a lot of head banging metal.

This is why I stick with my cd's instead. You can find anything on the internet these days, and FLAC formats will get you an small file with the exact quality of an WAV.

Yes I agree but until you prove them an good point they won't stop "enlightening" you.

RE: Hello.
Welcome! I too appreciate classic rock.

Slightly peeved when the classic rock stations here play things like Jane's Addiction.
Not bad music necessarily, but not classic rock either.

Or am I just that old now.....

Psh, that's why I said 'not bad music, necessarily..' duh.

Pink Floyd is one of the greats. Haven't tried LSD. Super concerned about the non-naturally derived stuff.

Well you can always try psychedelic mushrooms they are 100% natural and they aren't expensive. If you are planning to take them just read some trip reports on the internet, pick few good friends (no depressed friends they all must be in an good mood) and just go with the flow.

Anyway thanks for the warm welcome everybody.

Pretzel person....

I've tried shrooms, didn't do jack for me.

I've been told from several of my friends that I have some sort of freakish tolerance for anything narcotic, and in turn that means I'm completely not normal. To these people I say "I know, and it's awesome, believe me".

RE: Hello.
Mmmm shrooms.. For about 4 months I smoked little pieces in my weed bowl. Didn't do much for me psychedelically but physically it made me feel better. Turns out I was poisoning my immune system. Which is now the treatment for my auto-immune disease!
Sometimes I wonder if that is a better treatment than the prescription stuff I'm on right now..

Anyways welcome! Glad to have a tasty pretzel around for me to nibble on..

Bunny club. If you don't know about it, get to know about it. Then come see me Wink
Welcome
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
