I believe the FBI did something similar with New Kids On The Block during the siege at Waco, but they weren't trying to warn anyone off. They were just using psychological warfare.

Perhaps they could have hastened all of it a bit if the had played Yoko Ono's music.

If I were ever under siege by government forces, I'd let it slip out to the negotiator that I totally can't stand Pink Floyd. Then I'd sit back and enjoy the great sound system.

I was listening to a piano concerto streaming from Classic FM from London, and I stopped to listen to this. Big mistake.
Sadly, this is what passes for pop music these days. Utter garbage. And all that crap sounds the same.
