I believe we all have matches for us out there at any given moment. For arguments sake I'll call them soul mates. My soul mates ten years ago are not the same ones as today. Because I change and so do they. Me today, I found my soul mate. I'll be with him for life, because we will now be changing together. But I would hope that if I died, he could find another soul mate to spend life with. I know for a fact she'd be out there, one that fit him perfectly at the point in his life that he'd be at. As much as I love this one person, and even though he's truly unique and can never be replaced: there are other matches out there for him and for me, I'm sure. I just choose him. I'm his, and he's mine. Soul mates for life. Smile

I think you'll find another mate one day, Futile. I believe it to be a sure thing, so long as you don't give up looking.

I don't know. Probably because I wouldn't fall in line and worship the queen bees, so they in turn started to socially freeze me out, spread rumours about me, estranged my whole class and parallel class so that no one wanted to talk to me and harassed me on my cellphone. Why are people bitches? You tell me.

The notion of soulmates is nothing more than fanciful, romantic idealism. We get along with some people more than others. Some we love quite intensely, but this idea that there is someone out there that is perfectly compatible that you were meant to be with is just the brain operating under the influence of neurotransmitters. It's just an illusion.

I know, I'm such a romantic.

I've already found one soulmate and lost her. I met her when I was too young to do anything about it. I was in first grade, and I saw her and she seemed to glow with this inner light. I loved her right away, and I spent every moment I possibly could with her.

I talked to her on Facebook when I was 19, and told her that I was gay. She told me she couldn't support me and that she wanted me not to be happy, but pure in the eyes of God. I deleted her on Facebook, and since she lives in some other part of the country, I lost contact with her entirely. All I know is that she married a man. She is probably choosing to live a lie in order to appease her god. I just hope that one day she will be free of her religious shackles and choose happiness.

It never would have worked between us, because of her religiosity. She never would have accepted herself as gay no matter what I did. So I really hope I get more than one soulmate in this lifetime. I want to love again as purely as I did the first time.

You know what reciprocation means? You only reap what you sown. Take notice of what you said to me a few months back when I exposed my feelings, I'm sure you remember. Do not expect any sympathy from me.

She probably was just experimenting with her sexuality, just like all pubescent kids do. What reasoning do you have to claim she will not be happy as an heterossexual woman?
