That is the mentality I wish some theists would adopt.
Often, theists will argue ¨Everything living is proof of Gawd!¨ when in reality it is as proving of god as it is of Allah, Krishna, and the flying spaghetti monster.
In reality, living things are only really proof of biology, evolution and genetics.

This is how all christians seem to argue. They construct silly statements that are either fallible or have a complete lack of evidence. It bothers me more than it should.

You want proof that god doesn't believe in equality? Holy shit just look around you. Created equal? What is this bullshit. Have you seen people born to die within days? Born to live a life of poverty? Born to have degenerative diseases? If god created these people, as you believe, why didn't he give them equal chance at surviving and thriving in life? These people are disadvantaged, if you don't believe so please go chop off any appendage of your choosing, and you'll find yourself greatly inconvenienced.

Humans as a whole has recently come to the idea that all should be treated equal, and some attribute this to god's given inalienable rights. But these rights aren't inalienable, they're denied to people every single day. If you're willing to champion equality but will not admit that inequality happens and the greatest of all inequalities happens at birth, what's the fucking point? How will you solve the problem? But go ahead, god created everyone equal, you don't need to do anything to ensure equality.

Saying that people are not born equals is not the same as saying they should not be treated as equals. They should. This idea certainly did not come from the bible, where god champions his "chosen people" to wipe out others.
