You could shit four thousand verses straight out of your cock, it still wouldn't equate to truth. Here, how about this:
"I say that people should have equal rights from birth to death"
That was me, saying that, just now. It is now a written reference in history, created by a human, just like everything in the bible. It automatically carries at least as much weight as the bible in any discussion on ethics. That's how reason works lads, the bible doesn't trump a thing.
