What I saw offline today.
RE: What I saw offline today.
After several inches of rain the skies cleared and the dogs enjoyed running in the bay.

Pictures of my new front border now in progress. There are considerably detailed descriptions on each of todays photos if you click on them to view it at flickr.

And here are a couple of photos of the pyrocantha hedge interlaced with a very tall growing, red flowering Salvia and frosted with the flowers of a Kiftsgate rose.

With any luck I'll like what I see this spring and summer. Pretty exciting for me to be taking some risks in the garden again.

So you ripped out the pyrocantha and have replaced it?

Yes. And I've also ripped out the sprouting roots of it a few times. Wish me luck I hope it is mostly a goner now.

I liked the mature hedge I had before but between the rose and the pyrocantha anyone walking down that sidewalk was in danger of losing their vision. I know lots of birds made use of that hedge as they never will what's going in now. But it is kind of fun to be trying new things.

On my way home from the shops I spotted a strange man in a mac lurking in a bush. [Image: uqy5a2y4.jpg]

BEAUTIFUL view of the bay!!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Glad you liked it Lucky. There are more views of the bay toward San Francisco, the Goldengate bridge and Mount Tamalpais on this clip, when the camera tips high enough to glimpse the horizon.

I made one of the images my background, hope you don't mind :-D
I'd so love to come visit you and your puppies and your apparently geriatric wifey!

Um, Nora? WHAT was he doing to that poor bush?

And what's a Mac?

I saw a homeless guy on a bench at a bus stop once. He took a piss without standing up or removing his pants Tongue
