I don't know what's sadder about this video

If I had a kid, we'd have some serious problems if he talked to me that way. Of course, if I had a kid, he'd never talk to me that way because, well, discipline.

Maybe his grandparents or father indoctrinated him while she wasn't around, and she just never said anything directly against religion, so it wasn't challenged. The problem with this theory is that one would think she would know if her husband, parents, or in-laws were apt to do this sort of thing.

If kids at school did it, then his beliefs should "wash off" much easier.

I like Christian as a name. It sounds nice. It's like Hans Christian Andersen..

Poor kid though. He'll grow out of it, now that his mum knows. If I had a kid and he starts saying all this, I would find out who told him and I will cut that person out of my life.

I've heard people say things like this, and when they do have their kids they are blow away from all the surprises. You never really know how your kids will behave until you have them. It sounds simple to say, but the real thing is full of surprises you weren't counting on when you prepared for parenting.

I feel lucky that my oldest is so level headed while dealing with two completely different parenting styles (his dad's and my own). I have a son who problem solves, thinks critically (as far as he can according to his age), can hold a conversation, and never yells at me like that. Then again, he's not perfect and has thrown tantrums before. I bet people thought that if they had kids they would not go through that, but truth is every kid is different, every home is different, and every genetic background is different, so nobody will really know until they have their own.

That's true... and another reason I don't have/want kids: way too unpredictable! Kudos to all of you good parents out there!

lol yup! Vey unpredictable. Here's this video of a comedian describing some of that unpredictability:

She didn't do it. How it happened is a reasonable question, though.

And his name is quite ironic, IMO.

here is my opinion:

she was married to a Christian, they named him and then something happened and her husband or ex husband (she probably left him and he is the one indoctrinating the kid) is trying to make sure his kid remains a Christian: I think she is dropping him off at her ex's house and that's why the kid is so anxious and angry: he has to listen to more of daddy's explanation of his mother going to hell.
