This might have already been done but if so it's probably long since gone necro.
So, to start, we have Black Veil Brides. Founder, song-writer, and lead singer Andy Biersack [Hey, Cthu, beer-sack, amirite?] is a self-described atheist, and it shows in many of the band's songs.

A sentiment I think many here can share.
Now, three songs to sample them that I find exemplify what they are about, with lyrics added in hide tags underneath each.
You might also come to the conclusion I started listening to these guys simply because of their aesthetic style (plenty of you probably know what I mean here). I am here to quash the rumors and say: Yeah, basically.
In The End, a song with a sentiment about death I relate closely to. Symphonic rock song with metal elements to it.
We Don't Belong Here, a song that Andy Biersack has described as being a song for atheists who struggle with prejudice being directed at them from those in their communities and families.
And finally, for now, Wretched and Divine, similar in its theme to We Don't Belong Here, meant to be a song of solidarity.
Also, the first picture when the song starts, with the towering figure of Death? Fuck yes.
I'll keep snooping around for stuff to put up here. It's understandably difficult to find stuff with this kind of theme.
If you know of any such music, feel free to put it up, too.

Quote:Biersack is an atheist, although many of his family members are Catholic. In an interview with Loudwire, he stated "I’m not a religious person but I grew up in a religious family. I went to the funeral for my grandfather, a person that I love very much, and everyone is speaking about how he went to Heaven and how he’s in Heaven. I always fight with that, because I would love nothing more to believe that my grandfather is in the clouds playing Xbox 460 or whatever awesome stuff they have up in Heaven, but I can’t."
