I was guessing an April fool's article. So I'm not sure the animal lovers are as bad as the WBC'ers but there are worse. Idiots who kill abortion providers come to mind.

Of course in the case of killing abortion providers, that is illegal. Freedom of speech be damned, kill a doctor go to jail bub. But what about setting up a protest at my private burial? If it happened at a funeral I was attending for a close friend or relative, I might have to exercise my 2nd amendment rights.

Here's a tool to solve the problem:

I mean, the OP is what to do, not what should we do. Tongue

The only thing to do is ignore them; let those directly affected handle 'em.

Couldn't it be considered harassment?

Sorry if I don't know enough about the article. It would be nice if it was fake, but honestly it's not unbelievable.

Only the bits they like!

Because of course, they are the only Christians that pick and choose the parts of the Big Book of Multiple Choice they follow. Undecided

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

It would be cool if a group of vets could bring a collective lawsuit against them which would bring a restraining order in addition to reparations. If we can prevent pedophiles from straying within a certain number of blocks of a school or childcare facility, I don't see why these Westboro Bastards shouldn't likewise have their liberties limited. Enough is enough.

I feel better now. I ran across this a few weeks ago, and I'm like how bad do you have to be for someone to say that at least the WBC doesn't do that.

Laws aren't written in stone either. I don't see how a law that ensures right to bury loved ones in peace would backfire.

I object to the title of this thread, I thought you needed help interpreting your white blood cell count (wbc).
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
