You see, my faith is totally compatible with science. That helps. A lot. God and science totally affirm the existence of each other. But, thankfully, I have many secular reasons to have these opinions to.
We share nearly all of these goals, although mine have nothing to do with faith and everything to do with the welfare of the people I live amongst.

I see that only women's reproductive freedom isn't making your list. Since we agree on so much else, I'm grieved at that. Still, you will find many of the other theists here differ from you fairly extremely... unless, of course, you think slavery is OK.

I'm not quite sure I understand this. In what ways does Deism facilitate beliefs that would specifically lead to making these decisions. I would have pegged you as simply a generic theist (i.e. not Deism, but not any particular religion) after you said that you had experienced god. Now I'm just confused.

I have always regarded deists as being on the same side of the AvT fence as monotheists, pantheists and polytheists.
