I would not discount the psychological costs of atheism. To preserve the sense of a life worth living, you must continue living "as if" ontological naturalism was not true like you believe. You live as if you make choices while at the same time believing that everything you think, feel, and do follows deterministically.

Yeah, but it all feels the same to me. What is it you think we'd be missing out on, here? I have the freedom to do what I want to do at any given moment, and irrespective of whether that choice comes from some magic soul, or from neurochemistry shunting hormones and so on around my body, I still want to do it. The chemicals in my body are still a part of me, and besides, they're all any of us have. I'm a compatibilist: yes, I might not have free will in the (strange, nonsensical) way you christians want to phrase it, but from where I'm standing it feels just the same, so why should I bother worrying about it?

Again, so what? Yes, on a universal scale my actions don't have much (immediately noticeable) meaning, but I don't live at a universal scale. I live on a personal one, the same as everyone else; my actions certainly are significant to the people around me... what more do I need? Leave it to the staggering arrogance of some christians to believe that if their individual actions don't indelibly stamp themselves eternally across the entirety of reality, then everything is meaningless.

And your crack about dignity doesn't follow at all, because you haven't demonstrated at all that the complex chemical reaction called consciousness isn't deserving of dignity to begin with, nor capable of identifying it without a magic space wizard controlling everything. Like your last post where you quote the Koran to prove Jesus was not crucified? Yeah that is totally an atheist move. Or like when you asked to see the signs of Jonah or asked to see where Jesus claimed to be God in The bible? Or maybe your atheism is proven when you claimed to have memorized the bible? Or how about when you phonetically quoted passages from the Koran and challenged me to translate? I've been answering religious questions for 6 years, and never once has an atheist asked your questions. Do you know who does ask your questions? Active Indoctrinated Muslims. Why because those douche bags have been taught to all believe the samethings about Christianity. (That they think they know more about Christianity than all Christians do.) This means all of their primary questions center around what they think is the lack of a claim from Christ of deity, what they were taught to be failed prophesy ie: signs of Jonah. And when they get desperate they start to quote their 'holy book' as proof/a legitimate source for all sorts of empty claims. Like Jesus did not die on the cross..

I get what your doing. You hate Christians. And you figure atheists hate Christians, so why not jump on the band wagon and hate the Christian God as the westerners hate the Christian God? The only question I have is do you know Muslims are not allowed to lie about their belief in allah unless their life is in danger? How do you justify your lies?

O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or your parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not your desires, lest you not be just, and if you distort your testimony or refuse to give it, then verily, Allah is aware of what you do.

I guess after denying your god when you where given the opportunity to proclaim your faith, your only hope now, is that atheism is indeed true. Otherwise this would mean you are now an infidel as well.

I've learned to take people at face value on the internet. Trying to peek behind the mask is a risky play and, more importantly, distracts from any actual points being made. I've long since stopped worrying that someone is "trolling" a forum because it doesn't really mean much. I'm sure Random_Person_531 will rue the day he wrecked his reputation, seeing as he can't possibly create a new account with a new email address and post from a new IP address.
