None of my classmates is doing anything with their degrees. They're useless unless you want to go through the heartbreak of getting rejected all the time, and possibly getting some kind of bit part in a show you don't care about. I love that you have a family and teach middle school. WAY more useful than a stupid performance degree.

Thanks, sweetie. My voice might be lovely, but a lovely voice isn't enough to diva-ize me
... and I'm not convinced my voice is really all that lovely.
