Allan Savory: Junk Science

Allan Savory: Junk Science
You might remember somebody posted this guy a while ago, so I thought I'd look into his claims:

Well without actually re-watching his little demonstration, I can tell you that at least from the second video above early-on he talks about that he did an 8-year international trial.

Here are two links that explain in detail why he is wrong:

Link Link

According to the first link:
  • The most systematic research trial supporting Savory’s claims, the Charter Grazing Trials, was undertaken in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe today) between 1969 and 1975.
That's not 8-years, nor international. The trial found that the methods were ineffective, the claims this guy makes don't stack up. He does not distinguish between freshly deforested areas and millennia-old deserts, he sees them all as the same.

If you're looking for a miracle cure for deforestation or for solving the world's hunger crisis, or for climate change this is not it.

Allan Savory, Allan Savory, he's just like this guy:

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke

RE: Allan Savory: Junk Science
I agree about Allan Savory, but I think the pic of Mr. Gore is a bit much. Would you consider removing it?
