Congressmen make far more than that.

Anytime the word 'energy' is used when not talking about actual energy.

This encompasses almost all New Age woo.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Any time someone implores you to be open-minded.

Granted that's not definitive proof that bullshit is being presented, but when I hear that, the alarm bells start ringing in my head.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Generalisations (generally).

Everyone knows that...
Christians believe that...
Atheists believe that...
"Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken."

(fill in the blank) causes cancer.

The ones I hate most are microwave and cellphone radiation cause cancer.

(fill in the blank) cures cancer.

(fill in the blank) is the cure for cancer and the reason you don't know it is because big pharma wants to continue selling chemo drugs.

The statement "it exists" is part of a scientific method, because it requires verifying somethings existence through investigation. So idiots who say it exists but you can't scientifically test it or use any sort of scientific method is pretty inconsistent, how the f*ck else can we investigate its existence PLUS how do you know it exists if you can't test it nor even give proof for that matter?

A buncha' dimwitted morons.
