I've Resigned
February 3, 2014 at 8:51 pm
I've finally resigned and I'm not looking back. My friends seem very happy with my decision!
I'm taking a lot of expertise at what I do with me, I've had this job for 6 years now and when I'm ready to get a new job I'll be going in a new direction, one in which I've not yet worked out but one which will be right for me.

Nice. Non-employment is an enviable career, if you can pull it off. Personally, I'd love to be in a position where I could trade a good salary for something I find meaningful regardless of the pay.

It must be nice to feel so secure in your hireability you can just quit a steady paying job like that. [/bitter]

Not to imply anything (including that it's any of my business), but I understand the term 'resigned' to usually indicate a decision which is not wholly voluntary. Did something happen?
