I don't now why you guys bother, at this point. Enrico is such a deeply stupid person that even acknowledging that others have made points is beyond his limited intellect; that's why it's so unpleasant to interact with him. So seeing you all, actually smart people who I've seen being intelligent all over this place, beating your head against a wall is just... baffling. Tongue

More like what blunt trauma does.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Wrong as usual.

Evidence for Meat-Eating by Early Humans

What are the odds of him actually clicking those links and reading what they have to say?

That is interesting.
Can you please elaborate? Thinking

That is funny.
How would you explain the fact that until 50-60 years ago when our grandparents where eating meat once a week (average) they didn't have so many diseases?

Science and medical evidence overwhelmingly shows that the more meat we eat, the sicker we get - heart disease, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, and every other major degenerative disease. If eating meat were so natural, it wouldn’t destroy our health.

Opshh, you forget that homo sapiens came much later.
Transformations take time to occur.
If you look at the picture in your link you will find that NON-homo sapiens were trying to get meat from a dead animal.
How the hell would you know that these creature had something in common with homo sapiens?
It is like to say that a child may masturbate but as he grows up he will give up that bad habit.
In other words......forget what hominids were doing 2.6 million years ago and concentrate about what homo sapiens was doing from his early beginning.

Another stupid hypothesis.
There is no evidence that anemia was caused by a lack of meat.
Could be that in those time in that particular place there was lack of green vegies or that boy could have had a malfunction in the body.
When i was a child my mum make me eat meat, despite this i was a bit anemic so your hypothesis is flaw (as usual). Smile

Enrico,

You might find it easy to dismiss the arguments of meat eaters that we have evolved to be able to eat meat on the basis that they would say that because they eat meat, but how do you explain why vegetarians and vegans (such as myself) also believe that we have evolved to be able to eat meat? The evidence posted by popeyespappy really is pretty conclusive.

When it comes to your "intuitional science", why is that so many people that meditate etc. come to such different conclusions about things? For example according the Hindus or Christian gnostics, they believe that intuition shows them that there is a creator god, Buddhists however believe there is no creator god. Without actual science how can you say which is true? The same thing can be said of meat eating. Meat eating is acceptable in Christianity, sort of wrong/OK in Buddhism and very bad in Jainism. The is no reliable way of comparing between different peoples intuition, and all it creates are untestable hypotheses (whether that be in the form of the existence of God, reincarnation, or some objectively true set of ethics).

Just because our society which generally deems meat eating acceptable, and also gives high regard to scientific principles, does not mean you should reject the latter just because you think meat eating is wrong.

Your total ignorance on the subject is unbelievable.
Let me show you how the system works.
Suppose you are a smoker a drinker or a drug addict.
You think that what you are doing is ok.
Now for me that i do not smoke, drink or use drugs if i only take a little bit of those substances i will get sick straight away while you get not sick.
What does it means?
Does it means that you are stronger then me or that these substances are ok?
Not of course.
It only means that your mind has become controlled by your body so it is the addiction that generate that false idea in your mind.
At this stage the mind is not able anymore to control your body and when you reach this stage you are Fu..k.
The meat has the same effect.
If i put a tiny piece of meat in my mouth i will vomit and if i eat it i will end up in the hospital.
After so much time that you eat meat your body will convince your mind that everything is ok but ok is not as we can see from the increase of diseases since the economic progress of the last 50-60 years allow people to buy more meat. Cool Shades

You forgot few important things.
1) The evidence show that the more meat we eat and the more we get sick.
2) The evidence show that meat in a cold country is not as bad as in a hot country as in a cold county the saturated fat can be used to fight the cold.
3) There is no evidence that we have been evolved to eat meat.
As i just write in the previous post i explained how the mind become slave of the body addiction so you come to think that doing something wrong is not really wrong.

Religions have nothing to do with intuitional science.
All they do is following dogmas or false truth so what they think or do means absolutely nothing.
