I know there is a lot of Religious fuckery out there but allegedly there is a Medical Bureau next to Lourdes where Doctors (some of them have no Religious persuasion) examine the healings and if a person can prove from previous documentation that they had an incureable malady, that it happened instantaneously as a result of the water from the miraculous spring, that it was a full healing (not partial), and come back a year later without a relapse, the miracle gets the term certified.

There have allegedly been more than 4,000 of these certified miracles that meet that criteria. That is however a tiny number compared to the multi million horde of pilgrims that go there every year.
