Please let me know why in Polpots name would somebody socket puppet a second, third, fourth, or fifth time and think that they are good stewards of their time and out to accomplish something by doing so?

Also, the Internet for my Lap Top took a shit and the century tell guys couldn't help me out via phone, so I'm waiting for someone's Nerdy fanny to show up and check the wiring.

As I wait for this fat ass to show I'm forced to either use my cell phone (which sucks ass) or go to the Library. The problem with a public library is there are hundreds of filthy hobos with no life who use those computers and it is very possible that there are other people with my IP address.

What are the odds of someone being executed on a false accusation of socket puppeting due to those circumstances?

Sockpuppeting, or trolling, is more about showing one's disdain for the site than it is for any rational reason of genuine interest in the site. It most often happens after one has been banned from the site, and the people who become trolls always think they were wrongfully banned. What better way to show one's abhorrence than attempting to create chaos through a false identity?

I am unsure how the mods would determine a public IP address to be connected to a previously banned member, except that I do know most everyone has a particular signature in the way they present themselves online. And to be honest, most people cannot help except to eventually reveal who they truly are, because their ego demands that they receive recognition for who they are, what they have done, and how they have supposedly fooled everyone.

Considering the IP match and the appearance of the phrase "used colostomy bag salesman" in several of your posts, I kind of doubt that.

It's standard practice to PM members when an unexplained IP match occurs and ask for an explanation. The alternative (a preemptive ban) is a bit harsh.

THat most certainly had to be me! Absolutely no doubt in my mind that was me! Thank you! The funny thing is I don't remember doing it. Maybe I didn't think the account had been created or had difficulty accessing it. I honestly don't know.

I've used that username at other forums but didn't remember it with this one. I never activated it because I didn't know it existed. Nor do I know the password. Is it the same as the password on this account It also may have been I started the account and moved else where or the email went to spam so I never activated it.

Thank you! Please delete it. I have asked mods multiple times that if there is indeed another account please delete it. Also, now that I'm trying to find a home here I dont use other forums either accept maybe rarely to ask an important question.

Well that's good im finding this out. I've asked about it many times and never gotten a clear answer. I've also asked that if there was such an account that it would be deleted.

It's not a big deal. We keep an eye on such things because we have seen people create several accounts and leave them dormant until a later time when they start aock puppeting. Some of the time it's innocent, which is why we ask instead of jumping to conclusions.

I also received a message from a mod asking if I was a sock puppet because of someone who apparently shares my IP. Maybe you investigators can help me figure out who my twin is.
