Hi

Hi
This is my first time here and what made me look for a place where I could find like minded people was an article I saw in our newspaper about what Atheists do at Christmas. I also belong to a group that has a strong Christian member base and the last newsletter they put out had a "tongue in cheek" remark about offending any wiccan pagen people by saying Merry Christmas and they said they were "sorry" and then said oh we should say "Winter Solstice". I can't be open about my non belief in God as I probably would be strung up :-0
Anyways, I am looking forward to being here, meeting new people and just being myself. I am from Southern Oregon, married with a spoiled dog and take care of my Mom and Grandma who live in the same duplex as my husband and I. Which is very handy, most days.
I am bad about being able to keep up with forums but I feel that this one will keep me interested enough to be here alot ! thanks for having me here !

Hi cristalrose and welcome. We are almost neighbors. I'm in southwest WA and I too belong to a group of christian women, mom's who have kids in the autism spectrum. My son has asperger syndrome, but we are both atheists in a red countySad

RE: Hi
Welcome cristalrose. Hello neighbor. I have heard southern Oregon is nice. I have been down to coos bay, bend, and ashland, once to crater lake. But I haven't gone to southern Oregon that much. I am a native Oregonian. I reside in Portland. Welcome welcome. I hope you enjoy your stay!!
